Today is the Day

I awoke to a beautiful sunshiny morning. It has been foggy and grey for weeks so I am taking this as a really good sign of wonderful things to come.
I was going to get up at 5AM to have a cup of tea but I slept in until almost 8. I figured I would enjoy sleeping on my tummy one last time. I know I will soon regret not having that cuppa but I will be on the IV in a couple of hours.
I just want to wish all the other the same peace that I have felt as they head in to the castle this week.

This site has kept me sane and given me so much confidence that I am going forth with optimism and courage and so I am off .
I won't be able to post for awhile, no sitting for a bit but I will have my sweet hubby let you know how I did and maybe that will ease someone else's mind like your reports did for me.

I wish you the best for a speedy and great recovery. Your optimistic spirit and calmness were wonderful to read . I'm 7 weeks post TVH, back to work, and this website has been a blessing and incredibly helpful during the weeks before and after my surgery. The women here have been so tremendously supportive and have really helped pull me through a time when I constantly had questions. Wishing you the best!
