When does the stomach bloating go down?

I am two days post-op and can only wear a couple pairs of my pants as my stomach is still too bloated for my jeans. I understand it will take time for the bloating to go down. But about how long? I am scheduled to go back to work in 2 weeks and I am worried that my work clothes won't fit me.

I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm still waiting on mine to go away. I've been wearing dresses. Probably not what you want to hear. Maybe yours will go away sooner.

I am 3 days post-op and still have the bloating as well and I am scheduled to go back to work in 2 weeks. I am hoping it will go down before then. I have been wearing dress like makupjunkie because its way more comfortable, but can't wear them to work. Hopefully we have a speedy recovery and all our belly bloating goes away.

I am 6 days post op and I notice that mine swells the more activity I do so later in the day it's always worse. My sister had hers in September and it took a few months. I also had a laboratory in December and mine stayed swollen about 8 weeks. I invested in some cheap stretchy pants.

I am 11 days post op and mine has gone down some, but is still pretty bloated.

I am 5 weeks and I'm still bloated and wearing two sizes bigger than before.It gets worst at night.

I am 4weeks post op and I have good days and bad with belly. It will get better:-) Dresses are easy but if that's not permitted at work try stretch type pants.

I'm going into week 5 and I still have some bloating...try not to wear clothes that are too binding because that really doesn't help. Also, try to do as little as possible. The more activity you have the more you swell. Don't rush things

I am 6 1/2 weeks post op..davinci, radical hyst and I am STILL wearing dresses and yoga pants! I can wear this to work but sure am missing my jeans! Mornings are good but around lunchtime it's starts swelling pretty good and I sit at a desk all day. So I'm waiting with u.

I'm 10 days post op and I'm going back to work Monday. I was hoping the swelly belly would be getting better by now, but yoga pants it is. I tried wearing jeans yesterday and was in pain after only wearing them for an hour.
