tongue feels swollen and looks weird

I had a hoarse throat when I came out of surgery that went away and then kinda a sore throat. Now my tongue feels like I burnt it which I didn't and it has a white coating on it and feels swollen. I also smell like a burnt smell once in a while. Is this something anyone else has had or should I call the office in the morning. I just started a patch. Not sure what is going on.

You may have oral thrush...call your doctor and have it checked. It is caused usually by the antibiotics and can be quite bothersome. Good luck and feel better soon!
