5-6 week mark and still bleeding!

I am going crazy! I just past my 5 week mark and I am still bleeding! I went to the DR last week because I started passing small clots and then had one night when I bled ALOT. He did an exam...and no, I was surprised but it didn't hurt, and said that I wasn't close to healing!! I had my cervix out and he said the cuff looked okay, just not healed, and that the stitches were no where near ready to come out! My bleeding, and I say that because it is not the light pink discharge, it is blood, goes from spotting to like a day 3 perios flow. I was supposed to go back to work the 14th...but I go back for my 6 week appt next week..anyone have the same problems?? Am I just the only freak?! I also had an ovary left, and it had some cysts removed on it, and it not working right now...so the hot flashes and the night sweats are killing me! I don't know how I am supposed to go back to work like this! No pain though, thank God for that! Anyone having these problems? It is very depressing, I have not lifted or done anything I am not supposed to do.

I am at the 10-day mark and started bleeding with severe pain in the night. Took a long walk yesterday, wonder if that caused it.

I am almost 6 weeks post-op from my TAH, they did leave me one ovary. I too, am bleeding off and on, nothing really major. My problem is that I am on a lot of blood thinners. (Coumadin, aspirin, and plavix) I cannot stop taking the blood thinner because I have a blood clotting disorder. I did go see my doc last week and he took a look at my stitches inside me and said they were fine. He said my bleeding is because of my meds and a small amount was to be expected. I hope it stops soon.../sigh
