Had Pre-op today

Hello ladies,
I had my pre-op today. It went very well. I feel relieved now that I have all my 26 questions answered. Lol
My gyn said she would start me on a low estrogen HRT "if" she ends up taking ovaries to. No bowel prep because she said it can sometimes dehydrate the patient and she feels it can add to the difficulty of recovery. I'm all good with that. They will automatically put an anti-emetic med in with the anesthesia for nausea. WooHoo! 2 surgeons will be in the op room. Yeah! They do provide a belly binder. She will be giving me toradol for inflammation and a narcotic for pain and after first day she will give 800 mg ibuprofen. I can shower the morning of surgery. Thank goodness. I feel confident about this procedure much more now. Cannot wait to escape from the castle like Rapunzel did in Tangled.

God bless you

cuddle1977,
Awesome!! I'm so happy that you got your appt finally with your heart doctor. Great news I'm going to bust my tiny butt this weekend and hopefully I will be able to rest Monday and Tuesday before surgery. I hope you get plenty of rest and many hugs to you.

Traeleigh,

Thank you I am ready to accept, adapt and overcome whatever comes my way and as gracefully as I can. Lol.
How is the journey to quitting smoking going for you? I hope you have found something that can at least ease the stress of quitting. I know it is one of the hardest things I have had to do. I wish you the best of luck in that struggle.
I will soon see you on the other side
God bless
