Issues after surgery - davinci

4mos post opt from Davinci Hysterectomy with Nothing but problems.. At this point I regret having anything done, the whole reason for having it done is to get rid of problems & not have the monthly cycle.. Well I've worn something going on 4 mos & have had a period every month since the Hysterectomy --Why is that ?? Still trying to get some answers but I'm getting very frustrated & looking to contact an attorney..

Did they take your cervix as well? My dr told me that's te reason she took both the uterus and cervix. You can still have mini periods if you have your cervix

Yes both my uterus,cervix & 3/4 on 1 ovary were removed but still having monthlly periods, almost as bad as before the Hysterectomy. Been 4mos & how can I be having periods if I have no Uterus...Looking for info, asked for an Ultrasound 2 weeks ago but dr said Not Needed.. Well somthing is NOT right ..

It sounds like you need to get a second opinion from another Dr.

I agree, go to another Dr!!! I have not had a drop of blood since my surgery.

Are you bleeding everyday? What does your Dr. attribute this bleeding to?

Definitely get a second opinion. There's no way you should still be bleeding at this point. Wow that's crazy. What does the dr think it could be. Please get another opinion. This should be a great time in your life - the nightmare of your period should be long since over.

If they left a remnant of tissue then it may still bleed. I would get another opinion and find out why the bleeding.

Im so sorry to hear ur having these problems. I would for sure get a different dr. Sounds like something isn't right and u know ur body better then anyone. Wish I had some advice other then find a new dr. What reasoning has ur current dr given u? My thoughts and prayers are with u as u get answers for what is causing this.
