I can hardly wait myself. Haven't asked the dr. yet, I figure it will be awhile. So the day before surgery, I was out riding.....knowing that in just 12 hours, I'll be at the hospital..... when I had my lap myo, he said after 4 weeks I am off all restriction, that seemed awfully soon to me, but just took things easy. this one has been a little different, and sure I'll wait much longer to ride this time. My hubby, too, has been great about everything...taking care of the kitties, our 7 horses and three pygmy goats. I get to sit and watch out the window for now....

Wow, great to see all the riders out there! At two weeks post op I did do grooming, and lifting jump saddle..no leading yet in case one spooked...my doctor said riding at 4 weeks ok, and I felt great, so I rode my frineds horse after she rode...my horse too crazy to get on yet! I walked and trotted, posting...slow jog! I felt fine the next few days after, no issues at all...so plan on riding again today. Now doing all grooming, tacking up, leading...all normal stuff...help my trainer.Probably won't start cantering or jumping until after six weeks...I actually feel 100% now, but my surgery and post op went very well. I only had one big fibroid, kept ovaries...Good luck and I can't wait to be riding normally...at least our weather is not too great yet

I'm so glad to here so many of you out there are riding again. I have
been really worried that I would have a hard time. Vjumper, wow
2 weeks and riding I could only think about it at two weeks. I had a
bladder repair along with a LAVH. And I have herd some horror stories
about the bladder repair needing to be redone and not going right. So
I have been extra carefull. I can hardly wait to be galloping with my trusty steed again.

Hi Tammy we do have to be careful, but I did not actually ride until 4 weeks! Just did the slave work for my trainer at two weeks! I am trying to go slow...feel 100% but know I am not!! I do not want to lose my whole summer riding either, since we have no trail riding during the winter!
Anyway, Happy Trails to all of us!!!
