severe back pain

i know this has been discussed here a lot, but i need to bring it up again. sorry. i had my hysterectomy on the 17th of may, and shortly after my 1st post op visit in the middle of june i started having severe lower back pain.

my GYN blew me off at the next post op visit a week later, telling me i should see a chiropractor because it was nothing related to the surgery. i went to my regular doc the next day and he gave me a muscle relaxer, told me to take 2 alleve twice a day, percocet at night, and do some back exercises, and i'd be better in a week. well, i did all of that, and i'm not better.

after reading here, i'm back to wondering if this is pain related to the hysterectomy. i'm waiting for a callback from my regular doc today - but i am sooo frustrated and feeling overwhelmed. i really just want all of this to be over.

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this continuous back pain ~ it must be very frustrating. Will you let us know what your doctor says today?
