To work or not to work?

Yikes! Look, I feel like I'm doing extremely well now at my 3-week mark and it took all I had to shop for groceries today! NO WAY I could have worked at 1 week. You're not a baby. You're under doctors care, they can't fire you. Tell them you have a terrible infection and your doctor doesn't yet know when he'll release you. STAY HOME my friend!!

To work or not to work?

UPDATE!! Thank you all so much. The silly part is I was stressing myself out about this, which of course will inhibit healing!
I called work this morning and I shouldn't have worried at all. He was so sweet, told me to take care and rest, I told him I'd shoot for Thurs ( I know, still to soon) and he said well i'll look for you next week. He really seemed to understand! I feel so relived now. I promise to be really good ladies!

To work or not to work?

Update!! I called work this morning and he was so nice to me. I just told him I seriously underestimated recovery time! I said I'd shoot for Thursday, he said he'd look for me next week! Here I was stressing out yesterday over what I was going to do and there was no need to.
Thank God!

To work or not to work?

My doctor told me two weeks initially (da Vinci method), but when he released me from the hospital he told me four. I am in no hurry to go back to work.

You only get one chance to heal as others have said and if you damage something think how much more time you could be spending out of work.
