Insomnia!!!! Help Please

Im not on HRT yet. Doc said at the 6 week check they will evaluate symptoms. I have the hot flashes already, sweat literally dripping from my forehead and insomnia. YUCK!!! Other than that my moods have been great, and except for the pain when i move to fast or cough I am doing pretty well.

Insomnia!!!! Help Please

My dr suggested benedryl as well. She wanted me to avoid Tylenol PM because she already had me on Vicodin for pain, and didn't want any more acetomenaphin in my system because of the interactions it would have with my Metformin and my liver. I recently started Xanax for anxiety and compulsive PMS behaviors. That has helped with the sleeping. I'm down to waking up only once during the night now.

I had problems sleeping too. And when I did sleep, I had the strangest dreams! I think the pain kept waking me up, even thought the pain was tolerable. It was just there, keeping me from being about to go into rem sleep. the Benedryl idea is a good one! I"ll have to try that.

Hey gbsweety,
Pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by compulsive PMS behaviors?
Thanks and hugs,
