TLH: Finally got my date - December 18th

When I opened the letter, I was a bit grumpy at first. I was hoping the surgery would take place around october/november, and then I find out it's not until mid-december. But after thinking about it for a little, letting it sink in, a sigh of relief came rushing over me... I finally have my date... not just a letter letting me know how long to wait, but an actual date...

The reason for this late date, is partly because I requested a single room, but also because since it's so close to Christmas, there won't be many surgerys at the hospital, and the ward should be quiet, with not an overload of stuff to do for the staff. So I accept it

I have fibromyalgia though, so I've been told I will need more time to heal then others. But that's all very individual anyways.

Congratulations on your date. I cannot fast foward time for you, but you may be suprised how fast that time is going to go. I scheduled mine about 4 months ago, thinking man that is forever away. It's now 9 days from now. You have time to prepare, that's good. Hang in there, Decwill be here before you know it.

Isn't confirming to have a actual date! Now you have time to relax, prepare and adjust to what is about to take place. Heres to a speedy recovery and happy healing.
