No Date: Pre op for Hysterectomy + bladder sling

Hi all, I am 40 and just made the decision with DH to have the hysterectomy and a bladder sling placed. I have fibroids and constant spotting/bleeding as well as irregular PAPS every 3 months for the past year. I am scheduled to see a urologist in 2 weeks and then proceed from there. I had the Urodynamic testing done almost a year ago and have been of Vesicare since; it doesn't seem to do much. I'm pretty confident about the hysterectomy because I feel bad most of the time just from the constant bleeding; tired, cranky and just plain sick of it! My question/concerns are more about the bladder sling. Any advice from someone who has had it done would be appreciated!

I had the bladder sling on the 30th of april. I had and have concerns now. But as of yet no problems. No leaking either. 2 little stitches one on each side. Yesterday was my 3 week check up. He said looks great!
