Spotting after sex

I am 5 months post op from a total abdominal hysterectomy and I still have some spotting after intercourse, is anyone else having this problem and how long should it take before the spotting stops.

I would call your doctor and report it. Maybe its a cuff issue. But its best to have it checked out...especially since its been 5 mos now and everything should be healed up in there.

Hi- Ditto about calling the doc. I was fine the 1st few weeks after being cleared at my 6 week check. Then I started having anything from a 'blush' afterward to dripping blood/small period type stuff. The PA checked and found granulation tissue had formed. They put silver nitrate on it and put me on Premarin vaginal cream for 2 weeks. We have tried again now a few times, and YEAH!, no more bleeding. I had even still had some yellowish discharge up till the silver nitrate, and that is now stopped as well.
