What does BSO mean?

What is BSO, I saw it on my doctor bill. Thanks for the answer ahead of time 2up2down

BSO is Bilateral Salpingo oophorectomy and involves the removal of both ovaries and of both tubes. (Bilateral=both sides, salpingo =the fallopian tubes, oophore =the ovaries, ectomy = removal)
