Re: Tired

For me, I think that what helped me get back to work with no trouble as early as I did was that I started walking day one, and kept doing a little more each day. If you know you will be going back soon, it might help to try to increase your activity levels day by day so that you will feel ready. You still have a few weeks to go before your return right? You will probably be surprised by how much stronger you feel by then.

Re: Tired

Thanks. Yea i have been walking round house & have done some dusting. Will my stitches dissolve soon thou? They do look better but dont fancy going to work while there still there. I'll see how i go feel better each day but work long hours i'm hoping i can start short hours at first. Also i have a dog, when is it safe to walk him? He does pull so bit concerned bout that.

Re: Tired

My OB/GYN advised that light walking, housework (no lifting) and light activity were more than acceptable after surgery. I also have been walking since day one and find that days in which I don't walk as much I ironically get more tired! Best of luck and hope your energy returns soon
