Great news

Rhonda,

That's great news. Just a one night stay and doing great. Now continue to do great, by resting, resting, resting, and drink lots of fluids. If you don't the pillow police will be knocking at your door. I am so happy for you.

Take care,
Donna

Welcome home, Rhonda. Glad everything went well. The waiting IS the worst part. Congrats on the tiara, you deserved it. Hope to see a picture of you wearing it. Now, back to resting, walking, drinking and resting some more.

I still can't believe that it is over and I worried for nothing about all of this. Thanks for all of your support. I don't know what I would have done without all of you. The only thing that I am trying to get past now is the gas. Boy, that is more painful than the surgery itself. Any suggestions on that?? Rhonda

My doctor said I could take Phazyme or one of those gas reducing meds. I didn't feel the need for it though. I think it has something to do with how much gas your doctor extracts before closing up because the last time I had a laparoscopy I had a lot more gas pains. (I also had a different doctor) Anyway, check with your doctor to see if you can take something. If you're like me, don't ya just want to celebrate that it's over?? I can't wait to get to that point in recovery!

Rhonda - It gives me a sense of relief to hear that things went so well. I suppose the more good things I hear, the less anxious it makes me about my upcoming TAH-BSO in May. Take care and use this time to catch up on some reading or movie watching. God bless.

Rhonda,
I'm happy to know everything went well for you
at the castle. Rest up and enjoy doing nothing
for awhile.
