If you have/had uterine prolapse, do/did you experience this?

I am one month pre-surgery, and it is period time. Because I had an ablation and LUNA procedure, I don't feel uterine cramps so much, but with the prolapse I am feeling cervical pain spreading out to the pelvic floor. That, I am used to with what the problems are.

But today I realized that I am also having bladder spasms when I urinate. Have been checked for a UTI (work at a hospital, so easy to have checked), so I know it is not that, but that is exactly what it feels like. So I am wondering if it is being caused by the pressure of the fallen uterus.

Haven't talked to my doctor yet, but will be calling him if it continues past tomorrow. Just thought I'd check here and see what others have experienced.

I had uterine prolapse which worsened about six weeks ago to the point where a little bit of it was visible.. my Dr said it was dragging my bladder & rectum with it. Had to urinate VERY frequently during those weeks. Now one week today post op TVH, A/P repair, bladder sling. Best of luck to you!
