TAH migraines or headaches post hysterectomy

Yes! Mine actually began day b4 surgery and lasted well over 6 days
Stress and meds!!! I'm not prone to headaches so it was a nasty surprise!!

Now? No more headaches!!! Woohoo

I have been getting more headaches since the surgery. The first week was particularly bad as the oxycodone I was taking was giving me headaches. Once I went off those the constant headache went away but I have still been dealing with more headaches than usual. The last 2 days have been particularly bad as this would be my pms/period time and its been pretty bad for mood/tension/headache.

I think alot of it is due to the hormores going nuts. Work with your doctor to get relief.. the last thing you need on top of your healing is a migraine or even a bad (tension) headache.

Went to the doctor and said that I have a sinus infection and migraine. Gave antibiotics and steroids. Hoping this will help.
