Constipation

I had robotic hysterectomy on Aug 22. I was getting worried, but I pooped today. I hope I will get back to my regular daily BM.

HooRay on your success! :-) I think I was about the same amount of time for my first poop-age.

Make sure you are drinking enough water - that helps keep things ... moist (?) and moving along in the bowels. If I slack off on my water during the week at work I'll end up having to take a pill to soften back up.

It makes me almost giggle (that would hurt!) when I think about how thrilled we all get (me included) about the first poop!

My surgery was the 22nd also and I had my first BM today also. It went great and no pains or cramps. Yay for us.
