Why is the 3rd week the hardest?

My doctor actually warned me that week 3 would be difficult. You have healed enough to begin to do more in your daily life, but there is still so much internal healing to be done. Mentally you are ready to be over this, so that makes it even more difficult. Even though you are tired of resting, continue to take it easy - gradually add activities back into your life. Give yourself a chance to heal properly the first time. You really are so close to feeling better, don't try to rush your healing, that usually backfires in a big way.
