4 weeks post op, yikes! lifted my 10LB dog without thinking!

I am 4 weeks post op (surgery july 4, 2011) and feeling pretty good! I would say I feel about 70% normal as long as I take it easy and don't overdo it. Tonight without even thinking, I lifted up my 10 pound dog while I was bent over! whoops! It was just a natural thing to do only after I had picked her up and walked a couple steps and set her down did I realize what I had done! My doctors instructions were to not lift anything heavier than a full milk jug (4 litres which is about 7 pounds) and I have been sooo good with not lifting anything till tonight. I feel nervous that I may have strained something or done damage to my insides.
Any comfort to send my way?

You are probably just fine since many doctor give a limit of 10 lbs right from the start. If you are sore, make sure you rest. If you end up with sharp pains or an increase in bleeding, call your doctor. Please keep us up to date on how you are doing.
