Is there anyway not to gain weight after surgery.

Yes. Take in fewer calories. Since you won't be as active, you won't be burning as many calories. If you eat less, you shouldn't gain weight unless hormones are an issue.

Hi, I actually lost weight after my surgery. I didn't have much of an appetite and couldn't eat much at a time either. Just remember to eat healthy foods. Walking ( slow and easy at first ) helped me a lot.
