surgery over now time to heal

My surgery was yesterday Friday 11-16. Surgery went great I had to stay in recovery for longer than expected. We could not keep my o2 levels steady. Surgery was at 830 and made it to my room at 330. Still having to monitor o2 very close. I'm on morphine pump has helped with pain but not letting me sleep. Finally slept for 2 hours. Getting cath out this morning ready for that. And a side note all my nurses have been wonderful!

Glad that's all over for you jenni, sounds like you had a long old day yesterday. look after yourself. This surgery can knock you for six for a week or so - give yourself time to get over the surgery - LOTS of rest!

All the best for your first pee, poop and wander around! All the things that suddenly become important to us!! ;-)
