Hemorrhoids anyone?

I just got back from my obgyn and this monday the 4th will be 6 weeks for me so I got my going back to work papers. I'm doing really well as far as the surgery, BUT, I started having some rectal bleeding and my obgyn was kind enough to check and he said it was definitely a hemorrhoid right there on the outside and it had burst and was bleeding so at least I know I'm not crazy and it's not anything more serious. He gave me some medicine for that so I hope it's all cleared up by Monday because I owe, I owe, so it's off to work I go!!

I had some internal hemroids I was dealing with just before surgery and they are acting up for me after surgery too. The medication does help.

I had been diagnosed with them before my surgery and had a flare up about 3 weeks out. I had bleeding, which I had before, but this time my primary care doc referred me to a proctologist. Turns out I had a small fissure that was bleeding, not the hemorrhoids. He treated it with silver nitrate (not pleasant),but it has helped. My point is, if the meds don't help, you may want to go to a specialist and get it checked out. Fissures get very painful, trust me!
