Hi,

I called my GYN's office today and talked to the insurance lady regarding my appointments and approval and stuff, and she mentioned in passing that my insurance may require a deposit prior to my surgery. But she couldn't tell me how much it might be!

Have any of you ladies had to pay a deposit and can you give me an estimate of the amount that you had to pay? I don't have a lot of extra cash right now, so would like to have some idea of what I might have to shell out.

Thanks,

Lisa

I had to pay what the dr estimated that my insurance would not cover. Like the deductable and the percentige the insurance doesn't pay. My doctor required I put $950 down. But what you pay will depend on your insurance. We have a $500 deductable.
I hope this helps.
