Really feeling crazy
Hey ladies,
My LSH is scheduled for Friday and I just feel like I am going crazy.
I just had the easiest AF I ever remember having - thus I am second guessing this.
My dad died last week so that has me feeling crazy.
I have to be back to work two weeks after this - and I am nervous that I won't have the energy for that. I have four kids at home - an autisitc 8 year old, a 6 year old, and two 1 year old twins. I have little to no help with that.
On top of all this - I may need to pick up a second job. I just feel like I am losing my mind. My stomach hurts all the time. I can't sleep. My head won't stop hurting. I just feel sick. Should I not do this? Is this the wrong time? Should we try to have one more child before this happens? I just feel crazy.

Really feeling crazy
I am really sorry to hear about your Dad, my Mum dies 2 years ago and I still feel her loss. I am sure that this recent upset and has made you re-think a lot of things in your life.
I think you need to go back over the reasons you made you decision to have the surgery again & just make sure you are REALLY comfortable with your choice as there is no going back.
If you decide that you are going to go ahead do you really want to do it now or are the symptoms you are dealing with bearable for a little while longer?
When you choose to have the surgery you need to make sure that you have help with your children, especially with a special needs child around, for at least the first 2 weeks as you will not feel up to dealing with them 24/7 in the early days.
You seem to have so much to cope with right now, your hystersisters are here to help where we can
Hugs
Katy

Sorry about your Dad. If you do not feel up to doing something as major as surgery, you may want to think of postponing it until things feel more solid.
Best of luck dear!

Really feeling crazy
Hi Amasatdhd10,
I am over 4 yrs. post-op now from my LSH and it is still one of the best things I ever did for my long term health.
I think many of us Hyster Sisters second guess our decision to have a hyst right before surgery...so do not feel alone. A hyst is major surgery so there can be a lot of feelings involved in planning one.
For me...my LSH gave me back my quality of life. I like my life now without gyneo problems. I hope you have similar results.
In my case..I did go back to work at 2 weeks, with my Dr's okay. I just delegated as much as I could and took frequent breaks.
I lost my father-in-law last week...so I can understand some of your feelings. Planning a surgery and having a family loss at the same time can be really tough. So just trust your inner strength. You will get through it.
Sending best wishes~
Mary
