pressure

I had vaginal hysterectomy 5 weeks ago I still have pain and pressure down there my rt. ovary has a cysts size of a nickel I'm feeling discouraged...

thanks so much i had my post-op exam my ovaries are still enlarged everything else is healing slowly...

Girfriend, I had my vag hyst (removed cervix and uterus) on Sep 6th, and this week.. I finally have little and sometimes no 'pressure' pain.. I also have a cyst on my left ovary, ranging from nickle to near golfball size(depends on if I am ovulating from that side or not, it's liquid filled, not dangerous) anyway, be patient, the pressure does fade, what helped me, was sitting on very soft pillows, baths, and strategically placed icepack.

I had my LAVH on Sept 7th also but have been feeling great, no pressure. However I did bleed after sex (waited 6/12 weeks). No Pain thoug. Hope the bleeding goes away Good luck to you!

Frita, I had a vaginal hysterectomy and felt pressure. It did seem to go away around the 8th week. Hang in there, it does get better.
