Age

I am wondering if there's anybody that's young like me that had this done. I had mine done 4/8/11 due to infection in fibroids. Surgery was done after being admitted for fever and pain. I am 26 going on 27

Re: Age

I'm a little older at 32 but should have gone ahead by the age of 25...I feel like I wasted sooooo much time. We did everything possible and still ended up with the hyst. I am so glad it's all gone!!

Re: Age

I'm a little older too at 33. I had (have?) endo and for the last three years have been through 3 gyno surg, 1 kidney surg, and a bout with divitercular disease. Also depo lupron and a staunch refusal for a mirena due to cyst probs. I am sorry that you had to have it so young and it sounds like unexpectedly. Hugs

Re: Age

yes I had it done unexpectedly. I was going thru testings because a cat scan and ultrasound couldn't determine if I had a large ovarian cyst or a large fibroid. So the MRI showed the decaying of the fiborid and I was in the hospital less than a week because I became ill due to infection. So we had it removed. I am glad we did it. I already had 3 beautiful children who is 1, 4 and 6
