Incision Question

I was wondering if any sisters out there have any suggestions on what to put on your incision in order for it to feel softer and not as rough and hard.
My incision healed quite beautifully however it seems to be hard and weird!!
Or should I leave it alone and let my body take care of itself.
I have heard of women using vitamin e on it but I was wondering if someone has another option for me.
Hope everyone is doing just fine and that the sun is shinning wherever you all may be

Incision Question

If you can get hold of some good quality Alovera gell that works wonders. I used it on my son back in England when he got burnt and he didn't have any scaring at all. It was great stuff.
I was told to massarge my scar to brake down any scare tissue under it when I had my shoulder surgery so I plan to do the same with lovely scar on my tummy too when the sterrie strips eventually come off.
Good Luck

Incision Question

I put Mederma for scars on mine. It is for making scars less noticeable and helps them heal better. Ask at the Rx. Only a suggestion, my doc oked it!

Incision Question

i've heard that massaging the incision will help to break up the scarring, though i think that would be painful. it's normal for there to be a hard ridge that forms beneath - at least that's what i've been told about mine!
