I'll be so glad when the 28th comes

I am so tired of feeling worn out & run down, even after a good night of sleep. It's not normal to start feeling exhausted by two in the afternoon after getting up 8.

Yes, I've doubled up my iron, but am still bleeding. Lupron shot last Wednesday and taking three progesterone pills a day for hormones.

I'm only nervous about the surgery, but will feel so relieved once my uterus is gone. This part of my body is no longer friendly. I feel as if it's turned against me and so, I must do what I have to when confronted with something that is no longer a healthy part of my life: cut the ties so to speak & move on.

I am so sorry you are dealing with all this fatigue. I really understand why you are just ready to have your life back. The 28th is not too far off.

Re: I'll be so glad when the 28th comes

Please don't be nervous about the surgery-though nerves are a normal part, in fact pre-op jitters are the worst part! You sound like me before my surgery and trust me, the surgery and stress before surgery are so worth the end result. No doubt you will be sore after surgery, but it seems so minor compared to why you're having the surgery done. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

it's mostly the fear of the unknown. I know everything will be fine. Thank you for your kind words. It is nice being here knowing there are others going through this & have gone through it.

Re: I'll be so glad when the 28th comes

I also had Lupron but could not handle the progesterone so you are ahead of the game in comparison to me before surgery! For me, even though I had my appendix out 10 years prior, I was terrified about this surgery and cried my way into the OR. Your doctor and nursing staff will take great care of you, I assure you of that. Please take it easy on yourself, get all your necessities within arm's length and prepare yourself for major pampering!
