Should I be bleeding (bright red) 29 days post hysterectomy

Aloha,
Today is 29th day post-op (LAVH) I got up from my sofa and there was blood. I went to the bathroom and I wiped away bright red blood and there was a small piece of brown tissue. I am still bleeding and now wearing a pad. Is it normal? I am also get a little cramp.
My Check up is not until the 16th of Aug. Feeling scared.

I'm sorry, I know how that feels! I would say to call your doctor, because the bleeding is new, it's bright red, and you're concerned. If anything, perhaps they can provide some reassurance until your next appointment.

Mahalo. I'll give my doc a call first thing in the morning. It tapered off but still bright red.

It might be that a clot worked itself loose, but I agree on calling your doctor. Filling a pad in an hour is an emergency, but even if you didn't have that, a gush of blood or fluid, a significant amount of new bleeding, clots larger than a quarter, or passing tissue warrant alerting your doctor.
