7 weeks post hysterectomy - lower right abdominal pain

I've had a pain in my lower right abdomen since before my hysterectomy (when I had a giant fibroid). During recovery, this particular area has been the most sensitive and still is, even though I'm 7 weeks post op. I finally gave in and called my doctor, expecting to hear that it's a normal part of recovery etc. To my surprise, he scheduled a CT scan for this afternoon with a follow-up appointment next week. Anyone out there have this type of experience? I know my bladder was displaced due to the fibroid, and the fibroid was fused to my bladder resulting in a few bladder stitches, so I just figured it was internal bruising from the clamps or pain from the surgery etc. Any other guesses out there? I will keep everyone updated next week after I see the doctor and he reviews the results, but I'm curious if any sisters have guesses! Winner gets a free drink!! ha!

If you still have your appendix, could be that.
