Little rant... comparing one patient to another!

Well for that co-workers sake, I hope she reconsiders. I can't even imagine how painful it would be to drive to work (seatbelt + incision=Owie). Not to mention she's going to need a ton of rest.

Definitely, take as much time as YOU need to recover. I wouldn't worry too much about her claim to return in a week, I'm sure after surgery she'll change her mind.

I had my TAH on 6/23 and tried to get out 7/3 and went by the office to visit (I drove myself) and went to pick up my son after he got back from being out of town (so I could recover a little)... by the time I got home I was so completely wiped out... I got home and passed out for about a good 4 hour nap... I cant imagine going back to work that soon... I still have a rough time getting around from time to time...
