Nine Weeks Out, Now a Cystocele?

I'm feeling very concerned and depressed. After two surgeries and complications, I think I have a cystocele. Has anyone else with a recent TAH had this experience? It feels like the lining of the vagina is rubbing against my underwear. It feels like there is a stick stuck half in and half out of my vagina (sorry if TMI). Help! I see the doctor tomorrow, but this isn't something I can live with around the clock. It feels very strange when I walk, move, etc. There's constant pressure. On the phone my doctor thought that telling me about Kegels was helpful. Uhggggggggggg. She's has been a dissapointment. I wish they could have done something preventative during the TAH. Another surgery will bankrupt me. Anyone have experience or advice? Thank you.

I'm sorry this is happening. I didn't have it myself, but there is a lot of information in Resources on Prolapse . There might be helpful information there.

If you don't feel your current dr is being proactive enough you might want to get another opinion on this. It's a shame something wasn't done to prevent this, as you said, but maybe it wasn't presenting itself as a problem. It's hard to say. I hope you can find answers today and that it's better news than you're expecting. Let us know what you find out.
's, Rita
