Pain in the butt

OMG...my tailbone is KILLING me. I am not a baby, I have done so well, but this pain is terrible. Especially when I sit in my puter chair. Anyone else have this trouble?

I am thinking that perhaps I had a previous tailbone injury and the surgery (TVH) re-injured or bruised it.

Wow, this is bad.

Re: Pain in the butt

If it just started, it may not be related to the surgery since your surgery was a month ago. I love chiropractic treatments. That may be an option.

Re: Pain in the butt

Not only my tailbone, but my lower back, too. And my hemorroids.

Resting is KILLING me.

The only relief I've found is changing which chair I sit in frequently - we have several with arms that I just keep rotating thru.

When the pain gets too bad, I just walk around until I tire myself out & start it all over again.

I tried to inflatable donut, but I can't figure out how to sit on it properly. I may ask my DH to pick up one of those pillows designed to take pressure off the tailbone - you know the ones with the cutout at the back?

I usually do some yoga poses in the morning to release my lower back, but I can't bend like that right now.

If I get that pillow & it helps, I'll let you know!

Re: Pain in the butt

My tailbone pain started about 6 weeks or so and continued for about 2 weeks. I think other ladies have experienced this as well.
