LAVH Happy Sex life Post op... is it possible???

I sure hope so. I didn't have any pain before this surgery at all, much less pain with intercourse. I had heavy bleeding issues! I can't take any HRT due to a blood condition that causes clotting, I kept my ovaries, and so far I have a great desire. But I'm waiting my 6 wks. Taking care of my man, so its easier on him. I'm excited to see what happens at 6 wks! I'm a little nervous about that cuff. I didn't know a TON before I did this surgery so now thats its done I know more. So I'm a little paranoid. But I have high hopes!

6 months out and yes, there is definitely a wonderful sex life after surgery.

7 weeks post op and yes there is hope for great sex. My hubby actually thinks it feels better.

Tomo(Brenda) and to all the other "little" sisters out there. This is a wonderful site, and we are all here to help and encourage each other. I know that this site is a godsend for me, and certainly I feel it is time to pay it forward in trying to provide help and encouragement to other ladies. So, when your time comes please do the same for your "little sisters"

Also, my DH has another name for the vaginal cuff. I described it to him as like the sewn end of the toe of a sock. No, he said, "It feels like the inside of a velvet slipper" He is one very happy camper and so am I. Ya'll take care. to all and happy happy healing!!!
