2weeks post op I'm back!!!!!

Hi sisters I'm back!!!
Had surgery on the 21st, everything went well, was home 4 days later but not allowed to climb stairs so no access to the computer, what a bummer!!
2 weeks post op and my dh finally let me climb the stairs. Had a great shower and headed over to the computer to say hi. Wanted to see how everyone else faired!
Hope to be back in action(at the computer) by the weekend. It's been a ruff couple of weeks but I made it!!

Welcome back take it slow and easy on those stairs and sitting up can be a little tricky too.

Hi there! I am a week and two days out and doing GREAT! I am so glad to hear you are doing well, too! I had a post op visit today with my Dr. and then went to my friends pool for the afternoon. I have been taking it very easy, but I am coming along fantastic! It was a scary ride, I'm glad I'm off!! lol

Finally got my ds attention and he found a cable for the laptop I borrowed, only a week later!! Thank heavens I have a dd who took care of me in the castle and has paid attention to me at home! I swear my ds will miss my funeral because he's too busy! It's great to be back! Being a punctured princess is boring.

Hi yourself! I'm one day ahead of you, post-op and I'm doing great. I'm glad you're starting to feel better. We have stairs too (our bedroom is in basement), but dr. said if I took stairs slowly, I could do them and to maybe plan on doing them "once up, once down" per day for a week or so, if I could. Did that for about 3 days (although I did still limit myself, just not to "once up and down" per day, but ALWAYS did them slowly). They did get better, though. Did you have complications for them to have you stay 4 days or was that the pre-op plan in the first place? Anyway, glad you're home and on the mend!!

The pre-op plan was 5 days and I escaped one day early. They wanted a bm but finally settled for gas movement.Had everything taken including cervix which the doc said was extra long hope he left enough of the playground I hadn't planned on giving up sex at 52 just temporarily afterall I celebrate my 30th anniversary at 8 weeks so hope things are in working order even on a small scale! As it is it doesn't look like I'll be camping this summer. I have a wedding in Ottawa in Sept a ive hour drive so hope the old bod can take it! :dance2:

hey I'm almost at my three week mark I'm able to walk down the stair and back up a little while later. can sit by my cpu for a few mins and driving my daughter to work just ten mins away. i wish I could do more I want to go to flordia to my grandmother funeral but my family said for me not to come.that she would not went me to put my recover at risk.
