5 week was 4/25/05

Glad to here some 5 weeker are better. I had a great weekend but I think I did to much cause Monday , I felt like a truck ran me over!!!! I never tummy (gas ) problems before mt TAH and now its so bad I cry. Also any one having back pains.Back pains just started, I out the heating pad on everynight but by 5 am I have to get up . Any help , I would love to here. Thanks sisters! Difran Tah 3/21/05

Dear Difran,

Please allow yourself to rest after your great weekend. You are still early in recovery, and it takes some time and practice to know how much is too much to do.

Continue to drink lots of water and walk. Try something like Gas-X for the gas pains. You could also take Tylenol or Ibuprofen to help get back on top of the pain.

Talk to your doctor if these problems do not resolve in a few days. Let us know how you are doing, okay?
