2 year Anniversary
Hi, All!
I can't believe that I'm coming up on my 2 year Anniversary!
I had a TVH, but still have both of my ovaries.
I must say, that the procedure wasn't as bad as I had expected! The anticipation, and the fear of the unknown was the worst part!
I had an endometrial ablation in January, but it failed! I bled even heavier than before! I was begging for a hyster 4 months later!
I must say, it's the BEST thing I have done for myself, since having my last baby....over 12 years ago, now! I love not being in pain! I LOVE not having to worry about bleeding through! And I LOVE not having to hoard tampons and pads!
Now, I have a 15 year old daughter, who gets her period! I just SMILE and chuckle to myself! I'm SO glad that is behind me!
To all of you ladies in waiting...praying for a smooth surgery, and a quick healing!
Blessings to all!
Trish

Re: 2 year Anniversary
TWO YEARS today 7/23/12. "Everything must go" Happened.
I remember checking in online time to time and seeing everyone's good progress, and their praises for feeling so muh better. And me, trailing behind. ME - all manner of symptoms. My eyelashes were the only thing that didn't have issues! THEN, Just a few weeks ago, it all seemed to come together. Renewed vigor for making better food and exercize choices.... A decision to LIVE the remaining years of my life in the "best" of management of what health I have. FINALLY - I am able to say. "I feel good"! Still have a few issues to deal with, but overall ready to takle what I can, and manage what I have to - with joy and humor.
All said to encourage anyone who isn't on the same time-line as others. The word. Persevere, Pursue, Push Through with PATIENCE.
* Baby Steps - Doing The Next Best Thing - One Foot In Front of The Other.* So grateful to Hystersisters, and all who have gone before for sharing. Hope this helps and encourages someone. XO Dee
