Question: 3 week post hysterectomy exam - today clot and more bleeding?

Hi, everyone hope all are good. My ? is Im 3weeks post-op and I had my Post-op exam monday ,but today i had a blood clot come out and bleeding more than before, is this normal.

I had the same thing at around 4 weeks...turned out that I needed an internal stitch to be closed, and my doctor used silver nitrate for that. It wasn't bad and I stopped bleeding that day. The only thing that changed with my recovery was that I had to push back intercourse for 2 more weeks.

Hi. Have you called the doctor? It could be from the exam. I'd call and ask about it. Hope it stops.

So Should I wait or Call if the bleeding gets worse or don't stop by friday?

If it gets worse tonight, go to the ER. Otherwise, call the doctor in the morning.

I is just bleeding alittle now not even getting on my pad so I'll just watch it. At the Exam he said 6 more weeks so I go back. Just alot of pinching and stuff like that inside. But ty so much.
