Enbrel injections in tummy after hysterectomy

Greetings,
I am taking Methotrexate and Enbrel injections for my Psoriatic Arthritis..of course I had to stop both for my surgery. I always give myself my injection (via syringe) in my tummy because it is much more tolerable pain wise than the thigh. My doctor said I could start my Enbrel injections one week after surgery...well I am paranoid about infection so I waited two weeks and then I was worried about doing it in my tummy (so close to the hysterectomy area) so I did it in my thigh...I will not do that again unless I am forced to...hurt like a bugger!! My question is this, is it okay to resume the injections in my tummy now?

I would suggest you take the advice of your medical professionals on this one. Talk to both the prescribing physician and the surgeon who did your hysterectomy to see what they have to say.
