husband says there's pain during intercourse

While attempting sex after my daVinci hysterectomy (cleared by doc), my husband says something is hitting or scraping his penis. I can feel it too. It seems like it is along the vaginal wall sticking out. Has anyone else had this problem?

We had this happen too. I had some stitches(knots) that were protruding and actually drew blood. I had to go in and have them clipped. There were different types of sutures in my repairs and surgery. The ones that gave the problem were like fishing line. My dr said they have seen them still there for as long as a year.
Call your dr and let s/he know what you have happening. They should be able to help. I would ask if they would take a look. I'm so glad mine didn't just tell me to wait for them to dissolve. It might have been a long time coming. Let us know what you find out.
