I Want To Scream

Hi Ladies,


Well my surgery was cancelled yesterday only one day before I actually thought this was finally going to behind me. I just want to scream. My pre surgery labs came back with me having a urinary infection so I have been put on antibocticcs.......new date will be Aug 10. Advice to you ladies, make sure you doctors are staying on top of this kind of thing. I feel like this should have been caught long before the final days.

That stinks! Hopefully I will do a urinalasyt in pre-op? We have the same day now. I feel like it is coming fast.

I'm so sorry!

Is there anyway to be more on top of this other than to do our preop appt.'s though?

I had a pelvicopy rescheduled once due to a UTI that I didn't even know I had until I went in for my pre op stuff.

Oh, man, I am so sorry to hear your surgery was postponed! How horrible for you! I can't even begin to imagine the frustration you're going through at this point in time.

Hopefully this will turn out to be your biggest hurdle in your surgical adventure, and better for you that it's found and treated now than post-surgery with the complications it could have added. I know that's no comfort to you now, but for your health it's probably for the best.
