Does the "WORRY" never end... ugh.

Dang, does the "Worry" never end with this stuff......... :

I just learned about adhesions........ a site I read said that 93% of abd. surgeries will get at least a few .........

Isn't it enough to just try and get past this hyst. surgery.... but also have to wonder "when and If" adhesions will develop...and the consequences of that.........I don't even know what an adhesion would feel like if I did get them..............

Maybe I'm just tired and need a nap............

Does the "WORRY" never end... ugh.

since I found out I had endo lurking inside me for years at my surgery, I've been reading on adhesions too. That's why I'm super paranoid about doing too much too soon. Internal bleeding can cause the adhesions. So easy does it ! No straining or doing too much too soon. The last thing I want is more surgery down the road.

Does the "WORRY" never end... ugh.

Hi Gen!

Try not to concern yourself with this. Not everything one reads on the Internet (or anyplace else, for that matter) is necessarily "true." And, even if the statistic you read is true, it doesn't mean that, if you had the condition, you would necessarily be troubled by adhesions. I would think that, for many people, adhesions are minimal and/or unnoticeable.

Many s and Best Wishes,

Does the "Worry" never end...ugh. Adhesions

AAgghh......... I do feel that I did toooo much the first week....pulling and tugging on bed pillows and blankets, getting up and sweeping the floor, lifting and carrying around my 6 1/2 pound laptop.......etc....... I TOTALLY believe the pain meds. were masking the pain so well.......That I thought I was "Super Woman"

The second week..... (after cutting way back on meds) reality sank in and I have quit doing all those things........ NOW, I worry that my "stupidity" and failure to listen to DH........might have caused future problems.......... I don't feel anything tho....other than what everyone else mentions.....

Could someone tell me what it "Feels" like to have an adhesion..??

Just trying to drive myself Nuts......
