5 weeks post hysterectomy: Slow healer or normal?

Hello. I had a five week post op appt yesterday. I told my doctor that on the outside, I feel healed. Well, apparently that's not the way on the inside, not even close. 😞
He said I need at least three more weeks and he emphasized the at least part so it could take longer.

Is that normal? I typically overdo so I'm not sure if that caused me to heal more slowly internally or if that's just normal. Are we all just different and heal at different rates?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Re: 5 weeks post hysterectomy: Slow healer or normal?

Hi
I think we all heal at different paces. My Dr offered to keep me out of work 4 more weeks but I'm ready to go back in two. I started feeling better last week but feel real tired today. I think it's just up and down for a while.
