dVH/RALH 3 weeks post hysterectomy: Fever - worried

I have had a low grade fever off and on for a few days. Usually around 99 but always going back to normal. Today it has hovered at 99.6 - 100.1 with forehead scanner. I took ibuprofen at 7am and Tylenol at 1pm. Nothing since. Fever is 100 now. Was told to call if it gets above 100.6.

Is there anyway this is nothing?

I have a small amount of brown spotting (for about a week now). Nothing weird. No increased pain - just same ole.

I really want to stop worrying.

I took temp with an old fashioned mouth thermometer and I think it says 99. Dang things are hard to read. I don't trust the forehead one either. One min it will say 100.3 and the next 99.8.

The bottom line is they will decide whether to operate or not.
I don't know what could be causing your fever. But, it also is not overely high.

I doubt they will operate because of a fever.
