Pressure instead of pain?

Sounds like it might be gas... I know at first I was eating the Gas X strips 4-5 a day but now (3 weeks later) I'm only eating maybe 1-2 a day. EDIT TO ADD: Those Gas X strips REALLY helped.

Most of the pain I'm experiencing now is popping up in different spots (sharp little cramp type pains) and also feeling small spasms (they aren't painful, just feel weird) and the area around my belly button is really sore.

I went to the doctor today for 2nd follow up visit and he said what I explained is the norm and will get better over time. I'm REAL sore all over today though (didn't know I was going to be having a vaginal exam) OUCHIE!!! So I figure I'll probably be real sore for a couple days because of that and go back to the smaller sharp pains here and there again for awhile.

Pressure instead of pain?

I am a week & a day post op. I had a vaginal hysterectomy (still have overies). I had been terrified ever since I had this done. I cry at everything. I get scared when my husband goes to work. I can't stop thinking about what might go wrong although I think I am doing well. I am over weight & right now I really can't eat much or I have to run to the bathroom. I can finally sit up long enough to read a little bit here so I thought I would take a chance to see if anyone else is just terrified & tramatized by this whole thing. I know one day I will be glad I had this done but right now I wish I could take it back. Thanks
