Amazing 6 week appointment today!

So I had my surgery on Oct.25th, 2012. This Thursday will be six weeks. (Davinci) I wasnt supossed to go see my Doc until next week, but since my hubby and I are leaving to go out of town (kid free) for our annual company party this wekend....I wanted to see my Dr. before we leave.
He was amazed that my incisions are completly healed already and even called the nurse over to check em out. He did an internal exam and said that although he knows for certain there are still stitches inside (due to the fact that he used a very durable high grade stitch) he didnt see me flinch any when he pressed on the upper wall of the cuff. he said "Just be careful and have fun" WHOO HOO!!!!!!
My inner godess was singing all the way out of his office.
I have had a simple, easy recovery. back to work on week 2, driving on day 4, shopping on day 5, wine on day 8, no pain meds and healed external stitches after about 14 days.
I spotted mildly (not even enough for a pantyliner) from weeks 3-5, and have also saw a few black threads in there on week 5.
I have been recommending this surgery to everyone who is willing to listen.
I have to say, the worse part was week 1 and it wasnt even the surgery as much as the gas pains!!!
Anyway,I resumed normal life after 2 weeks except for sex. And I am now cleared for take off in that dept. also. Headed for my brazilian tomorrow and leaving Thurs. night for a GREAT weekend....

So happy to hear of you're great recovery. I too had the Dvh also had Bso. I will be recommending it also as so far my experience has been very positive.
