So tired and no energy

I'm 6 weeks out and still feeling tired. I do my best to get out and walk and try to do the things I need to do within reason and within the restrictions that I've got. But I have no energy and feel like I've had a full day after just 3 or 4 hours. I've only been able to sleep a few hours a night now and night sweats and hot flashes are worse then ever. Still got swelled belly and having minor pain. My doctor is in the hospital herself right now and I still have 10 more days before I go see her again.

Please please tell me this isn't going to last forever!

I'm sorry to learn you're feeling so crummy. Your profile indicates that you had your ovaries removed along with your hysterectomy. If so, are you taking HRT? What kind and dosage?
