TAH Abdominal overhang concern

I had surgery Nov.28th and had staples removed yesterday. I have skin tucked over and have butterfly bandaids placed over in ision. A couple have come off and e ause it got moist. I have placed sterile gauze betwren the overhang and the incision to absorb the moisture. Today it is pink but not red. I dtopped taking my pain pills but decided I was being too brave and took a toradol 30min. ago. Has anyone else had this? Any advice?

It will be ok.. Keep up the meds I'm 4.5 weeks in and still haves some pain. My exp with scars is they heal.. Our skin is fantastic.. One of my scars years ago looks great now but before looked like it was put back by a shark. They will get wet, when they do just pat dry and use a hair dryer..tah is hardcore..
